In Cricket a batsman’s average is a measurement of his performance throughout his career. In ODI, the batting average is calculated by summing up his total number of runs and then getting it divided by the number of innings that he played. Here are those ten batsmen who are topping the list in highest batting average.
10. Mike Hussey (48.15)
With such an incredible career for the baggie greens, the Mr. Cricket of the cricketing world has still managed to keep his place in the top 10 list. He scored 5442 runs in 185 innings.
9. Tom Cooper (48.80)
Belonging to a not so famous country for Cricket, Tom Cooper has managed to make his place in the list. He played only 23 innings to score 976 runs and secured the ninth spot.
8. Ambati Rayadu (50.23)
He is a younger talent and proved to be quite valuable in the recent past for Indian team. In just 9 matches he has already scored 1055 runs to make to the 8th in the list.
7. MS Dhoni (51.25)
Indian skipper MS Dhoni has managed to keep himself inside the list from the very beginning day he started in the Indian team. The veteran has 8918 runs in just 241 innings.
6. Jonathon Trott (51.25)
The English is same as per average with Dhoni but has played way little than Dhoni. In just 65 innings, he has 2819 runs under his name and looks to improve it even more.
5. Virat Kohli (51.51)
You just can’t go beyond the man of the moment while making a list of batsmen. The superhuman has already 7212 runs in just 163 innings under his name and surely will improve it once he returns to the international cricket.
